Kidchella 2026 has ended. The free Gold Coast festival for children ran on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September at the Surfers Paradise Sign, from 10am to 4pm. Live DJs, a Ferris wheel, silent disco, street-style hoops, an Art Studio, skate zone, Glam Bar and beach rugby filled both days.
From Viscount, getting there was part of the outing. The paved beachfront path beside the building led north towards Cavill Avenue. The walk took about 20 minutes, stayed beside the beach and avoided the search for a park at the busiest end of Surfers Paradise.
