Family stay, adults-only festival: the two were easier to combine from First Avenue than they might sound. Crafted Beer & Cider Festival turned ten at Kurrawa Park on Saturday 12 September 2026. That Gold Coast edition has ended. Its gates ran 11 am to 8.30 pm, strictly eighteen-plus with photo ID checked at the door. From Viscount it was a walk down the Oceanway and back.
Straight down the Oceanway
The park sits on Old Burleigh Road, just past Kurrawa Surf Club, and Kurrawa Beach is about 1.2 km south of Viscount in central Broadbeach. The Oceanway reaches it along a paved, lit, road-free path from the front door. That let adults in a family group take an afternoon at the 2026 festival while others stayed with the children, without planning around a tram or car park. There were no pass-outs through the festival gate, and non-alcoholic pours were available. Those entry rules described 2026, while the Oceanway remains a good route into Broadbeach.
Ten years of pours, one afternoon
The 2026 festival was cashless. Prime seating, a brewery meet-and-greet, a lanyard and a wooden tasting paddle came with the Crafted Legends Club upgrade. Your Mates Brewing Co and Slipstream Brewing Co were among the names pouring, and Beatniks DJs closed out the evening. Beer Yoga ran earlier in the day, while the Crafted Smokeshow served burgers, wings and slow-roasted brisket. Fry-Yay and Italian Pizzas covered other food options. Those ticket tiers and the lineup belonged to the finished 2026 event; check the official site for any future announcement.
Home before the kids notice
Back up the Oceanway, the pool is waiting. The heated pool, 27°C year-round, fenced and ocean-facing, offers a quieter hour after a Broadbeach outing. For a cook-your-own-dinner evening, the rooftop BBQ looks straight out over the Pacific, and the kids can have a say in which one happens first.
The 2026 festival is over
The Gold Coast festival took place on Saturday 12 September 2026. Viscount’s check-in runs 2 pm to 11 pm and check-out is by 10 am, useful for a family weekend built around the beach and Oceanway whenever you visit.
