# Surfers Paradise Accommodation FAQs

## Before you book.

Nearby construction is outside our property. Works are scheduled Monday – Saturday, 6.30am–6.30pm. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

- Q: Is the pool really heated all year?
  
  A: Yes. The outdoor pool sits at 27 °C every month. Heat pump and a cover; the pool is usable in July, not ornamental.
- Q: Can I park on-site?
  
  A: Yes, one free space per apartment. The car park has a 1.95 m clearance – leave roof racks and vans at home. Accessible bay available.
- Q: What time can I check in?
  
  A: Check-in runs 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Minimum check-in age 18, photo ID and the booking credit card needed. Earlier arrival? Reception will store your bags.
- Q: Is there a damage deposit?
  
  A: An AUD 300 deposit is taken on arrival by credit card and refunded within 14 days, subject to inspection. A 2% credit-card surcharge applies.
- Q: Is there daily housekeeping?
  
  A: No, and it is deliberate. This is a self-catering apartment property, not a hotel. Apartments are serviced between stays; mid-stay servicing on request, for a fee.
- Q: What about breakfast?
  
  A: No breakfast service. A starter pack of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and soap on arrival. Full kitchen in every apartment, corner store two blocks away.
- Q: Do you allow schoolies, bucks or hens?
  
  A: No. We do not host schoolies, bachelor or bachelorette stays, or party groups of any kind. The building is residential in feel and we would like to keep it that way.
- Q: What is the direct-booking benefit?
  
  A: Book direct and we will arrange flexible bedding configurations on request (split a king into twins, or singles into a king). No booking fees, you are talking to reception, not a third party.
- Q: Is the property wheelchair accessible?
  
  A: The Premier 2 Bedroom Ocean View Courtyard is fully accessible – ground floor, wide doorways, accessible bathroom. The lift reaches all upper floors.
- Q: Do you arrange airport transfers?
  
  A: No transfer service, but car rental can be arranged through reception. Coolangatta is 30 minutes south; Brisbane Airport about 90 minutes north. The G:link tram is a 500 m walk.
- Q: Can I bring my pet?
  
  A: No pets, sorry. Smoke-free property too – no smoking anywhere on the building, balconies included.
- Q: Is there an on-site restaurant or bar?
  
  A: No restaurant, café, bar or room service. Every apartment has a full kitchen, and Broadbeach restaurants are a 15-minute walk along the Oceanway. Reception keeps a current shortlist.
